Atlanta Freshman 101 Workshop
Join us for our FREE Freshman 101 Workshop!
The Freshman 101 Workshop is designed to prepare young women who are High School Juniors and Seniors for their fresman year of College.
Young women will learn the "Top 20 things Every Girl Should Know: Before Going to College".
Some of the workshop topics include:
1. Money Management
2. Internships
3. Study Skills
4. Majors
5. College/Campus Safety
and SO MUCH MORE!

Beyonce has joined our first Lady Michelle Obama in promoting the "Let's Move" Initiative..to get us Movin' Let’s Move! is a comprehensive initiative, launched by the First Lady, dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity within a generation, so that children born today will grow up healthier and able to pursue their dreams. Ensuring that every family has access to healthy, affordable food. And, helping kids become more physically active.

SEM Link hosts 4th Annual STEM Career Fair & Exhibition to Expose Youth to STEM at Georgia Tech

Do you have an interest for Science, Engineering, and/or Mathematics? Then this event is definitely something you should be at!On Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 10:00am- 2:00 pm at Georgia Institute of
Technology (Georgia Tech) Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc
(SEM Link) will host its 4th Annual Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition. This event will provide
K-12 students with an opportunity to explore careers and meet and
interact with professionals in these fields. Georgia Tech’s Student
Center Ballroom is located at 350 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA. This event

About SEM Link:
SEM Link is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, founded in 2005 in
Atlanta, Georgia, that promotes student achievement and career
exploration in math and science for K-12 students by connecting them
with individuals with backgrounds in science, engineering and
mathematics. SEM Link has a two-core program model, Experimental Design
Program and Math and Science Career Academy, that provide students with
opportunities to develop their math and science skills by enhancing the
classroom learning experience and teaching them skills that are
transferable to other areas of life. Since its inception SEM Link has
enhanced educational experiences for over 1000 Metro Atlanta youth
through hands on math and science activities, career exploration and
exposure to real world applications of math and science. In January
2010, SEM Link expanded its programs to the Bay Area to enhance the
educational experiences for Bay Area youth.
